The Active Parenting curricula are interactive evidence-based courses designed to offer parents specific skillsets for parenting children of all ages.
Birth-Five Class
The Active Parenting: First Five Years parenting education curriculum is perfect for new parents and early childhood staff training. It addresses basic parenting skills for ages birth to five, including effective, non-violent discipline for young children. First Five Years contains discussion of brain development and sessions to prepare children for school success.
Teens
Active Parenting Teens is designed for parents of children ages 12-18: the crucial years of early adolescence. This class gives parents the confidence and courage to meet the challenges and savor the joys of their children’s teen years.
Five-Twelve Class
Active Parenting Fourth Edition; Five to Twelve contains the essential Active Parenting model: encouragement, communication, and non-violent discipline. Five to Twelve contains discussion of responsibility, redirecting misbehavior, active parenting for school success and much more.
